About Me

I’m just a girl starting her thirties with a life a bit removed from what I had expected thanks to a rare disease called PNH. I’m sharing this life with an amazing husband named Justin and our four legged kids. For now at least, maybe forever, we are a childless couple as we navigate life with PNH. While this may not be the life we planned for ourselves when we got married, and there are certainly dark times, God has blessed us in more ways than we could ever imagine and we are enjoying every single day of it! I’m starting this blog to share our story as a childless couple living with a disease in hopes that others out there like me may find it and find comfort in knowing that they are not alone. That there are others out there who have a life filled with things other than children, that there are scrapbookers who still manage to fill albums with layouts based on things other than their children, and that there is still boundless joy to be found in life even if it doesn’t include the family or health you planned on.Thank you for joining me!

    • Thank you so much! Your comment made my day 🙂 My biggest hope for this blog is to reach out to others going through similar things so it is so good to hear that it’s working!

  3. Hello, I am a doctor that puts in these chest ports. I think this blog is a wonderful way to help ease the anxiety a lot of my patients have when they come to see me. Could I link here, from my site, to help them out?

    Thank you!

  4. Looking forward to some scrapbooking inspiration – particularly as I too carve my creative world around a family of two (and we are somewhat in the minority on that front). Look forward to your next post soon…
