Frog Hunting

I don’t know how it’s possible that there are frogs hopping around in Minnesota in March but there are. And Maggie could not be more excited. She starts frog hunting as soon as it’s warm enough to take night walks every year, and this year was no exception. Normally that means at least a month of her pouncing in vain on every leaf and rock she sees. But not this year! Well, there’s till lots of pouncing on rocks and leaves just in case they might be a frog, but there are actual frogs as well. She loves to chase them as they hop, although we’ve learned to keep her on a very tight leash in order to ensure the frogs safety.Frog: “Cheeeeeese!”

Maggie: “Please do something that I can chase you frog!!! Why are you so lazy???”

I am convinced this is what is going through their heads in this picture and nothing you can say will make me change my mind!
